Man guilty of misusing brother's Social Security number (Gloucester Daily Times)
A Gloucester man pleaded guilty yesterday to using his brother's identity to fraudently open a credit account. Shawn McGrath, 35, pleaded guilty to one count of falsely claiming a Social Security number as his own, punishable by up to a maximum of five years in prison or a $250,000 fine, or both, according to Tom Colantuono, U.S. attorney for the district of New Hampshire.
